Advocating for Responsible Development
With proven experience in environmental initiatives, Amy champions policies that prioritize environmentally sensitive growth for our district. Working with developers, the Office of Planning and Zoning and the Greater Severna Park Council, Amy volunteers her time and experience to keep our communities from overdevelopment.

Protecting our most vulnerable citizens
Amy is an advocate for the special needs community. She has been a long time supporter of the Maryland Special Olympics; supported Providence Center and Arundel Lodge, a mental health organization. She promises to support the full funding of the Maryland Disabilities Administration.

Beautifying our Community
Amy took over the maintenance of the Pet Garden on the B&A Trail Park behind Severna Park Elementary School, The garden was an Eagle Scout project that needed some care.

Amy supports voter ID in Maryland's elections, as well as updating voter rolls and keeping Congressional districts with parameters that use adjoining territory and respect natural political boundaries,

Empowering Local Initiatives
Support our rural farming communities that grow our food. Anne Arundel County was a farming community that provided fruits and vegetables to Baltimore city less than 50 years ago. We still have a very active Farm Bureau in Davidsonville that actively preserves farmland.

As you can see, District 33 is large and diverse. Amy is committed to an open door policy when elected.
She served under County Executive Laura Neuman as a Constituent Services Representative and after retiring from Anne Arundel County she continued working as a volunteer with the Greater Severna Park Council where she has chaired the Planning, Zoning and Legislative Committee.

Our Communities
Honoring those who have served our community, as Officer Swartz did keeping our kids safe at SPHS while the SRO. Amy also served on the board of ASPIRE - The Association for Severna Park Improvement, Renewal and Enhancement - that was instrumental in creating the fabulous paintings on the back sides of buildings along the B&A Trail Park in downtown Severna Park.

Build the Key Bridge!
We in the Legislature, should band together to insist on the rebuilding of the Francis Scott Key Bridge as quickly as possible. It's shameful that after over two years we are back to square one choosing a contractor.
